Luke has been the Advice Team Manager at North Bristol Advice Centre since September 2019.
Luke has a Law degree and completed the Legal Practice Course in 2019. Luke is currently writing a Masters dissertation which explores how cuts to legal aid and welfare reform have impacted single parent families.
Luke’s employment background is strongly based in the free advice sector having previously worked for Bristol Refugee Rights, Refugee Action and Bristol Citizens Advice. Luke is very passionate about enabling access to justice and addressing issues of discrimination, exclusion and inequality within society.
In terms of his hobbies, Luke really enjoys sports (football, tennis and rugby are his favourites) and he is big Liverpool FC fan. Luke also enjoys reading, especially spy fiction, and music. If he is not doing any of those, Luke is probably reading the latest welfare benefits and debts update newsletters as he a bit of geek when it comes to all thing’s social welfare law.
